Arrived at Seaside around 3 Friday afternoon to find nothing happening and hardly anybody fishing. Winds were a steady 10 to 20 mph west and southwest. Air was in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Later was when birds started getting active, but they were only accessible by boat. I tried thowing the XRW-11 in 3 certain areas that have the most productive, but never got a single swirl. Many of us are still waiting for those birds and stripers to get more active closer to shore.
