Afternoon Outgoing 11/27
Message:
Arrived at Bushwick Metal along the Pequonnock just after 1pm Friday. Tide was heading out throughout the afternoon. Air and sky were nice while winds were a steady 5 to 10 south to west. Lures I threw included purple gold CNR-8, spotted minnow SXR-10, original pearl shad FLR-10, and purpledescent SSR-9. I had a total of 7 hits with the FLR-10 and 3 hits with the SXR-10. Beat the skunk with a very chunky 16" schoolie that pulled pretty good on my 7 footer and 15 pound braid. Some of the hits I had felt like those aggressive schoolies in the mid to upper 20" range. Also hit Knowlton Park and the parking area behind the bus terminal. Saw lots of peanut bunker but no hits. Hit the road just after 4:45
