Perch
Message:
Friday afternoon I arrived at the funeral home around 1:30. Conditions were right for the place, with skies mostly sunny, light northerly breeze, and air temps around 50.
The lure I stuck with was a yellow perch HJ-6. Retrieve was a varying stop and go. 1 certain spot seemed to have been holding a school of yellows, which resulted in losing 2, having 3 followers, and landing 2 being 8" and 10" 9 ounces.
Once the perch were no longer interested, I went around the pond. 1 spot produced a cookie cutter under a pound and another spot was where I had 3 nice swipes.
After covering the entire pond and the school of yellows had shut down, I left just before 3 and headed down to the Wonderland of Ice.
