More Open Water

Tuesday I hit Mondo again, arriving around 2:30. Both ponds were just over half way melted and all remaining ice was the very weak gray stuff.
I hit numerous spots sticking mostly with the yellow perch HJ-6. Also tried doing a very slow retrieve with a silver shad JSR-4.
Found bluegills were stacked up near shore in certain spots more than Friday. Landed 1 about 7" and had a few swipes and followers.
Missed out on a cookie cutter and landed a 15.5" 1 pound 1 ounce pickerel at 1 spot.
Eventually landed 2 other dinky pickerel.
Hit the road just before 5.
It's looking like Wednesday's rains will have both ponds totally open when I go back Friday.

Good to know. Thanks, Michael. May have to try and get out there in the next couple weeks if I can!
