Went on a Journey

Sunday while I fished for trout on the Pequonnock River, I fished a few ponds too. While I was at Twin Brooks Park, I hit a few of the ponds, resulting in a dinky bass and a 1 pound pickerel both on the Helsinki Shad HJ-6. Lost a pickerel. Had a few schools of bluegills with a yellow or 2 mixed in following the HJ-6. Next stop was the funeral home where I caught a dinky bass and saw no signs of fish near shore. Last stop was back down to Beardsley and check out Bunnell's Pond. West wind had picked up by then resulting in rough conditions. Never got a hit.
