Thursday afternoon I arrived at Remington with my 7'6" Star Rods Stellar around 5:15. High tide was scheduled for 5:32 and water temp at the local buoy had been staying steady around 46. Winds were a nice little westerly. Later towards sunset on the outgoing tide was when things really turned on. Stripers started busting peanut bunker, with many splashes and swirls scattered in the area. I had a hit on a Purpledescence FLR-10 and a huge explosion on a Gold XRW-13. Once it got darker out was when southerly winds picked up. Hit the road just after 8.
