Nice One!

Sunday I hit sections of the Pequonnock River, arriving at the Trumbull Rd bridge around 1:15. Started by throwing a Gold HJ-6. 2 retrieves were steady and quick jerk and pause. Landed a small 10" brookie. Had no other followers. Next stop was Unity Park. I only saw 2 trout in the water. Had 1 hit and landed a dinky 3" largemouth. Last stop was Twin Brooks. Hit a few spots along the Pequonnock there as I stuck with the Gold HJ-6. 1 spot was where I had a trout come shooting out of nowhere and slam the HJ-6! This fish was pulling! Saw it do a nice jump. Get down into the water to land it. Landed a 14.5" 1 pound 5 ounce rainbow! Waded in the same stretch for a while and landed 3 dinky bass and 2 bluegills. Had lots of bass hit. 1 other spot produced a 12.5" brown. 14.5" 1 pound 5 ounce rainbow trout on Gold HJ-6 [img:74b1abaccd]http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r614/mvsimko/14.5%20inch%201%20pound%205%20ounce%20Rainbow%20at%20Twin%20Brooks%204-24-16_zpswifissgw.jpg[/img:74b1abaccd]
