Good spots for shore catfishing near guilford?

Just moved here about a year ago from utah and ready to get back into fishing. Catfish have always been a favorite of mine, and I was wondering if there were any good places to catch catfish near guilford? I don't want to go more than a half hour away from guilford, and I don't have a boat so shore fishing only! Thanks guys! :D

Don't be shy guys, I would really love some input. Doesn't have to be a place filled with 10 pound cats, just somewhere were they are stocked or found naturally near guilford. Searching online I couldn't find a thing, but I was hoping someone had an idea of where I could find some. There are lakes and rivers everywhere, I just don't know what's in em!
