Coming down for fishing...need tips

Hey all! Coming down to Niantic on the 5th to do some shore fishing in the Black Point area, and maybe going out on the boat for some fishing. Whats the best bait in the bay for keeper stripers and sea bass? Or are lures "popping" right now? Thanks for looking :D :D :D

There are lots of charter boats out that way. If you are fishing from shore Michael can tell you better.
