Black pond, Middlefield 5/27/16
Message:
Was excited to hit BP for the first time this year. Arrived at the launch at 730, and there were only a few people there. Air temp was 76 with a slight breeze at approx 7mph. Started by hitting the pads on the east side. Caught a skinny slime dart on a 4 inch watermelon/red flake yum dingers. Stayed with that setup for a while and was only able to bring two more bass to the yak, in that spot. Worked my way towards the rear of the pond and was only able to bring in one more slime dart and 1 bass. Even more surprising was my lack of luck on the mountain side. Not a damn thing worked for me in that area. It was a nice trip, wished I was more successful, but my yakattack sidewinder anchor line holder worked awesome. Cigar of the trip... Drew Estate
