Tuesday and Wednesday I hit the honey hole. Low tide for Tuesday was 6:50 and Wednesday 7:40. Both days were warm with a southerly flow. Water temps at the local buoy had been ranging from 69 to 72 both days.
Tuesday I landed 4 small tailors no bigger than 3 pounds and 2 schoolies up to 23". A site member landed a 12 and 13 pound gator. Pencil poppers were the big hit. Tons of explosions with a number of fish coming off.
Wednesday was more of my day between the 2 of us. I landed 4 tailors no bigger than 3 pounds and 5 schoolies up to chunky 23" fish. I lost a gator blue as it peeled line out. Pencil poppers once again.
Both evenings after sunset was when adult bunker were getting busted out of range.
