C.K.A. Tuesday Tournament - Lake WIlliams

A FEW NEW RULES FOR THIS WEEKDAY EVENT... 18+ with a valid CT Fishing License. Due to the fact this will go slightly past dark all participants need a light (Flashlights, headlamps, etc. acceptable), glow stick and a whistle. We will be selling glow sticks for $1 if you need one. Due to the very small launch area, we will be doing an on the water start like we did at Moodus. Please launch after registration and stay within 20 yards of the shore. No fishing is permitted till the start whistle at 5! Registration & check In: 4:00 - 4:30PM On Water Staging 4:30-4:50 Tournament starts at 5PM sharp PLEASE BE ON TIME! REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 4:30!! Entry $10.00 ($5 entry, $5 applied to winners pot!) Optional Lunker Pool: $5.00 (Largest 1 Bass takes the cash pot!) Optional First Place Pool: 1 piece of new tackle - The way it works is if you want in you bring an unopened fishing lure or piece of tackle and it goes in the pot. The person who wins first place (total length of top 5 fish) gets the tackle bag. Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place - Overall length of your 5 best Bass Live bait IS NOT permitted PFD's/Life Jackets are mandatory CPR Format - Catch, Photograph and Release - You need a camera or phone and a measuring device that has a horizontal stop. "Bump Boards" are available at most tackle shops or retail locations for $10-30 depending on size, material, etc. Photos must be clear, the fishes mouth must be closed and you must have your number card issued in the morning placed in the photograph. See example photo posted on the page. Canoes and Kayaks allowed and a Dinghy (Kira) - Pedal, Mirage Drive and trolling motor assisted kayaks permitted. Non-powered trolling (i.e., while paddling, pedaling, rowing or wind-drifting) is allowed, but powered trolling (i.e., while using a trolling motor) is prohibited and will get your DQ'd.
