I launched in Branford a few times this month since Niantic hasn't been good to me. I have gotten into some nice porgies but they are even hard to find. I probably averaged a dozen fish with half being "nice" ones (12-14") to take home. I fished Townsend, The Branford Beacon and out in front of the Thimbles. I havent seen any Fluke in that area and havent gotten any keeper sea bass either. I saw plenty of bait pods around but nothing working them. I am hoping things get better in July. BTW, this is the first time I have had a chance to see the new launch in Branford, its very nice, 2 docs.

Back in Branford on the 10th, plenty of good porgies, 1 small Fluke over at Townshend Ledge in 30 FOW. Plenty of bait schools but nothing on them. Still no sea bass for me.
