Easton and Hemlock Reservoir, easton ct

Has anyone fished either (easton or hemlock) reservoir? If so could you fill me in on what time of year you fished it, what lures/baits you used etc... I drove by Hemlock Res and it looked like a sick place to fish but, since its a reservoir I am guessing there are no boats alowed on the water.
