Interesting Report...
Message:
So I was at a pond this afternoon
Clear water but lots and lots of weeds... could see a ton of activity out in the sunlight (ie sunnies, bass, turtles and frogs at 3 in the afternoon)
So I guessing the bass were guarding their spawning beds because they would chase anything in my tackle box or night crawlers but boy would they chase out the sunnies....
It was like there was a radius and if anyone came too close they threatened to eat them...
So my question is....is there anything that would piss off those bass enough for them to bite? I tried swimbaits, plastics, jerkbait minnow, tubes, even a rattler for good measure and hardly even a look.
Any ideas...time of day have anything to do with it?
Nonetheless it was pretty sweet to watch how fast those buggers are!!
