Senkos and Hooks
Message:
I took the advice from this site and picked up a couple of senkos and some nice hooks. And I love em , they nail fish. But after one cast, the hook pierces right through the senko and the bait is no longer "weedless" its really frustrating. Is there any special way to rig so they stay weedless?

Are you wacky rigging them or Texas rigging them?
I am guessing you are Texas rigging them, as this is really the only way to rig them weedless. I think the action of the bait is better if you can get away with wacky rigging them.
If you want to rig them wacky and weedless, use a hook with a wire weedguard and go to town.
Hope this helps.

Thanks,
And yes I was riggin them weightless Texas style... I was afraid to go wacky that it would pull right through slicing the senko.
