Does anyone know a great spot to get some bullheads. I love catching them. However, I just don't know of any ponds near middlesex county that I can definetely catch some in.

The CT River! Read many post from the "other" site about guys going after catfish in the river. If I remember correctly, Middletown area and south of it were some prime areas for catching them.

I don't know any spots any more, I used to catch them in an overflow pond at the Snip but its private property now. I know this sounds crazy but my best bullhead set up was a night crawler with a couple split shot, no bobber and a good squirt of WD-40 on the worm. There was something that they liked the wd-40, but it proved better time and time again. I can't remember what prompted us to try it but it worked !! Good luck and watch for those stinkin spines
