5/25 CT River
Message:
Hit the lower CT River out of Saybrook for a few hours from about 5:30 until 8. Weather was clear, cool and breezy. I drifted the shoreline flats outside the railroad bridge near the mouth of the river. Most of the action was bluefish today,...I ended up with 5 blues and one striper that was just short of a keeper. Great day to be out on the water!! Here's the best ones of the day! :D

You know it's a secret,...but maybe you can get a clue from this! :lol: :lol:
ps: It took me a while of fishing with these things before I caught on,..but you don't set the hook with them (like when fishing for regular bass..)! The fish will very often just whack it without eating it and if you jerk at that point,..you will just pull the bait away and they will lose interest! You really have to wait until the fish eat them and put a bend in the rod themselves before you jerk back! :wink:
