READ ABOUT CONCERNS ON LACK OF POSTS ...SO HERE'S ONE

At 1:30 p.m. yesterday I hung up my school bus keys and my summer offically began. What do you do after that of course you go fishing. Went to Lake Housatonic this morning: keep in mind only 7 miles from my driveway to the boat ramp at INDIAN WELL STATE PARK. How did I do you ask? Very good in my opinion considering a month ago all I caught was two trees. All in all 7 smb and 1 lms nothing big all about a pound or so; also some crappie. No walleyes (I wish you could use the park at night I KNOW there are some big walleyes in here). On the water at 8a.m. and off by 10:30, water temp was 68 and I guess because of the storms last night they were running alot of water at Stevenson dam. FAST FAST current so fishing wasn't easy but it seems to wake the fish up. cmorjoe

Sounds like a great day! I've def. been keeping it close to home myself this season, but at least the fishing has been pretty good.
