Fished 4:00Am until 11:00am, the predawn - daytime bass eel bite was non existent, swiitched to Live porgies after slack and had 3 hits, 2 bass landed - 1 approx 20lbs released, 1 35lber released to the fishbox (tried to revive for at least 15 minutes) both bass has sea lice and were caught around 10:00am on Southwest, we only had 3 legal porgies for bait, also when fishing for porgies I landed my largest fluke (24inches) and a couple of dinner plate porgies - fluke and porgies were caught on simple high low rigs with chartreuse gulp grugs and squid morsels. Next trip will be live porgies only after sunrise. Blues were chopping up eels but could no catch any on diamonds. No surface action on Southwest.
