Had to get an oil change on my car last night, but i made it out to the reservoir on the canoe with my fish partner around 6ish. The wind came out of nowhere, but my buddy managed 2 fish from a watermelon senko in about 40 mins. One close to 2 lbs and one baby that was 1lb if that. As the water became a little more choppy we headed toward calmer pools. I caught a decent fish (1.5-2) off a 4" white jerk minnow. It started to drizzle a little bit which actually turned out for the best.... Minutes after the rain the water was so glassy it was perfect. I ended up catching a little guy and my friend hit another one, not to mention we lost around 3 fish near the boat. At around 8:45 the cops came and kicked us out. They got on the megaphone and told us to get back to shore and leave lol... Any of you guys there yesterday? I saw a couple guys on what looked to be like a bass tracker...just wondering if it was a fellow CTFT'er. All the best, ~Pete AKA PDCrack

crack that was me in the tracker. I saw you in your red cannoe. My buddy caught 2 shorties. I got the skunk. I blame it on the wind. I dropped anchor from the bow and my buddy always got the first shot into the structure. I was litterally casting over his shoulder. I got a ton of bits but I suspect they were sunnies as I couldn't hook anything. My buddy broke his Diawa Steez which is a 400+ rod. He set the hook on a bass and it snapped righte at the but of the rod. Must have been a defect. He took it to CT ooutfitters where he bought it and they saId they would get it replaced. I love when the cops come. They get wicked pissed. I for locked in on time. My father in law lives right down the road so he came with some lock cutters.

whos tracker is it? were u using a fish/depth finder on that thing? I made sure not to fish my honey hole while you were all there :) I can show you it sometime but i dont wanna overfish it heheh You guys went in right when the bite picks up, what for?
