Night fishing help
Message:
I don't go night fishing often but, when I do I would obviously like to catch some bass and figured you guys could better my chances...
I usually go an where between 9pm-11pm and leave by 12am.
Fish from shore
Places - a few ponds
I went tonight and missed one on a pink senko and caught a 1½lmb on a creamy white 5 senko which was was pretty much at rest...
I was actually looking down holding my reel/rod in one and when it was yanked forward.
I went last week and missed one bass using a buzzbait...
I always was told to use a black jitterbug but, in the last three years of trying I have never even had one hit...
If I can better my chances of catching some bass I may hit the water at night more often...
Suggestions on lures/soft plastics and techniques would be appreciated
Thanks

Black pop R with a slow to medium cadence, and a midnight special spinnerbait with a black colorado blade slow rolled on top will get you plenty of bites as well.
