Has anyone fished Batterson lately? If so, how is it looking? I know it gets nasty, but I have caught some good sized fish there in the past. I am thinking about heading over there this afternoon since it close to my house. It will be my first time fishing since APRIL! Any info would be appreciated.

I've fished there with good results. My only concern is the boat launch. I always feel like I'm gonna get mugged if you know what I mean.
