Carp!??
Message:
So I finally remembered to post this question on CTFT... A while back I was fishing Keeney cove and spoke to a fisherman in a kayak as we were headed back in. Did fairly well that day catching a couple bass over 2lbs and one that went about 3, along with a very nice pike. We exchanged a few words and turns out he was under the impression that the carp activity in the area was killing the bass fishing. Can some of you seasoned vets shed some light on this? Dusty? Anyone? I never really considered carp a predatory fish so I was wondering why they had this affect on the fishing. Whats the deal!?
