Waiting on the storm!

Well, after I cancelled with my partner and bagged the Beseck tourney early,..the weather moderated quite nicely around here for the rest of the morning!! :? :roll: :roll:
Anyway, around 8 o'clock or so I couldn't stand it anymore so I hit Cedar Lake for a few hours. As I had hoped,..the bite was on bigtime! I fished for 3 hours and ended up with 8 nice bass. Most were on a heavy jig around the outside weedline in 8-12 FOW,..but I did pick up a couple flipping a paca craw into the thicker stuff in the shallows. Here's some pics of the best ones,..4.25, 4.75 & 6.25!! :D

We chose the river over Cedar and now we know we chose wrong. Either way it turned out to be a pretty nice morning considering the circumstances.
