Rainbow 9/12

Hit Rainbow from 6:30AM to 8AM this morning. They've got the dam open and the water is way down from the floodlike conditions earlier in the week. Good current moving. Caught a dink on a weightless smoke senko in some timber, then threw some topwater stuff to no avail. Decided to switch to shallow cranking for the last half hour and caught 2 keeper LMB. Fished parallel lines, bouncing and digging off of rocks and timber. Pretty fast but varied retrieve. Lee Sisson's shallow diver in Fire Tiger. Pretty big bait with a squared off lip. Should have been cranking the whole time. Wished I didn't have to leave.
