Cedar Lake 9/28
Message:
Had a few hours to kill so i headed out to Cedar Sunday late morning. Got there around 11:30 sun in, sun out, drizzle, down pours and a slight wind was the weather out there. Water temps 66-68. started on the western shore with a tx rig and a drop shot, with a few casts of a jig here and there. started shallow because the lake seemed to be higher than ive ever seen it. nadda..... so over to the eastern shore and deep weedline out to 12feet. same baits as before and added a spinnerbait over the weeds. nothing again..wtf
I headed into the back (south end) tied on a shallow crankbait worked the edges of the pads and ticking the tops of the weeds..........that was the ticket, i boated 6bass in 40minutes 2 rats and 4 keepers. sun came out again and i went home. should of cranked the whole time....lesson learned

I fished it for a bit on Sat. with Largefry and we also found the "usual" bite awfully tough with the high water,..although I didn't crank, I did get the feeling that they definitely wanted something moving, so nice job figuring it out! 8)
