C-wood 10/25

I fished the ABA division 6 season opener today on c-wood, took first place and lunker. The weather started out cloudy and fairly calm. I took advantage of the early calm winds to drop shot some deep foundations. I was able to put two 3+lb smallies in the boat on the first spot. They came in 25 fow on black TNT stix wacky rigged. Then I headed to another foundation near a road bed. I was able to land a 3.48 smallie (lunker) on the same drop shot set up in 35 fow. Then the winds came and the fishing became extremely difficult. I was able to land one more 2lber and that was it. I took the four fish to scales hoping for the best and ended up winning by .27 lbs with a weight of 11.50.
