Wood Ducks

Scared a pair of these up y/day by the lake I normally fish at. I'm not sure who was more scared them or me.

They were a little down in the reeds to be actually nesting, but they're most likely around as i've seen the pair a couple of times.
If you ever scare them up when you're fishing, you'll know its a wood duck by the strange call they have. Almost sounds like a REALLY pissed off mouse WEETWEETWEETWEETWEETWEET.... And they flap their wings quite a bit for what seems like a little bit of forward motion. Keep your eyes open as they are REALLY pretty birds.
