Line Information and WD 40 LOL

Hello everyone. I am just getting back into a total fishing nut after about a year and a half off. had some other priorities to take care of. I have been a fan of Power Pro and have it all spooled up the question is I recieved a New Tsunami Tournamant 8"6" 3 piece Rod for Christmas and an OKUMA Epxihor Reel to go with it. Does anyone have any new New's on better lines than Power Pro Braided? I would immagine in a year and a half someone has come up with a better line more abraision resistant less wind knotting and better knotting abilities. Any one have suggestions. Cost is not so much a factor here for line as I just want a great line for this Rod and Reel i plan on hitting it hard this spring and summer and fall. :D
