Stillwater Pond (Torrington) 1/10/09

Was out this morning. There were more people there than I'd ever seen before on open water or ice! There is a good 7-8" of clear ice over the pond. I only stayed about a hour and a half and didn't get too bored even being there by myself. i caught 7-8 fish on both a jigging rod and tip-ups. I was using mousies on the tip-ups and a flick-r-spin on the jigging rod. Other people were getting flags and fish although they were too far away to see what or how large. I caught a LMB, two perch, and a few bluegill. The bass and perch were small, but the 'gills were decent sized.
