Wethersfield Res. 3/22
Message:
Took the canoe out to the Old Wetherfield Res. yesterday with a friend. I threw jigs mostly and a lipless crank once in a while hoping for a reaction strike. We ended up getting skunked. The water temp was 43 to 44 degrees and It got pretty windy out there. Had to call it quits when the wind started to make some decient sized waves and the water got a little rough for the canoe. If you go in the drink this time of the year chances are not good that you will make it out. It was still fun despite not catching anything. Hopefully next time Ill have some pictures of fish for you fellas.

Least you got to make it out, im going to prolly head over there this week either from a canoe or try to bang the shore if that doesnt work out.
