Pachaug on Wednesday 3/25

Hit the pond at 9:00 a.m. for the first of year shakedown cruise. Thankfully everything worked great. Water temps were 40.4 to 40.8. Water was a slightly stained and air temps were high 40's with little gusty winds. Hit the cove on the right coming out from the boat launch had a big pickerel chase my jerk bait and after that nothing. Fished back to boat launch with no takers. Threw the jig and pig and jerk bait. Was nice to be out there again.
