Lower Bolton Bryon Schiffres Tournament Results

Well to say there was a little wind to deal with would be an understatement. Half the field had to come in early with dead batteries, including Justin and I. But even with the terrible wind to deal with, 9 out of 14 boats caught at least 1 fish. Skies were partly sunny 15 to 25 mph winds water temps were 45 to 49 degrees water had a slight green stain Fish were caught on just about everything from what we gathered. The winning weight and only 5 fish limit was caught on grubs. The 3.77 largemouth lunker for the day was caught on a jerkbait. Other fish were caught on tubes, jigs, drop shot, crankbaits, rattle traps, worms, blade baits, and I'm sure there were some others. 1st place : Cjpd_00 & his father 5 fish for 5.79lbs 2nd place : Greg & Karate Kid 2 fish for 4.75lbs and a 3.77 lunker largemouth 3rd place : Gobama & Friend 3 fish for 3.70lbs 4th place : Mike Switzer & Rich 3 fish for 3.49lbs 5th place : Chuck C. & Ryan G. 3 fish for 3.30lbs 6th place : Nick P. & Cobalt 1 fish for 1.61lbs 7th place : Mike Honcho & Brother 1 fish for 1.58lbs 8th place : Mr. & Mrs. Stratos17 1 fish for .94lbs 9th place : Slimecoat & Justin T. 1 fish for .87lbs 10th place : was a tie between the last 5 boats The lake was down about 3 to 4 feet from full pool. Also plenty of pickeral were caught, and I think more perch were caught than anyone wants to talk about. Thanks Again for coming out and stepping up for a great cause. Gary

I was doing yard work on Saturday and couldn't believe how windy it was. Looks like a tough day.
