CT River Striper Fishing

Thinkg of fishing the river Fri in the Rocky Hill area. Just wondering if anyone has heard of anything. Please let me know. Thanks

From what I hear, its supposed to be a beautiful day: 70's and sunny. I don't really know that part of the river, but if its the main river your fishing, you should try to get to the spot on an incoming or high tide. If its backwater, look for moving water such as an eddy, or current breaks. Keep an eye out for baitfish and/or birds too. Good luck!

R u fishing from a boat? If yes, shoot up the river toward white oaks cove and see if you see any bait fish running for their lives. If not, that place holds a lot of lmb, but it is tuff when flooded. I still think RH is better in May. They are being caught in the mouth of the ct river and the mouth of the thames.
