Shoreline Bassin

Hey Fellas- Not having a boat, hitting distances on the water that are spread makes things a little difficult. Since this will be my first time fishing in the New Haven area, any suggetions for good shoreline bodies of water? Maybe some lakes or ponds that offer good variations in depth and habitat for the "day-walker"? And even some spots that rent out a dingy with a trawler/5hp??? Thanks and as the water really starts warming up, good luck!

If you don't mind driving Squantz pond in New Fairfield has some great shore fishing. You could start off fishing the causeway or hike the western shore. Nice trails and some good fishing you can seriously spend all day hiking and fishing. Just get out there before the out of state swimmers do! [/url]
