Message:
I know a lake that produced lots of nice LMB. Mostly in the spring and fall. But in mid summer like July they just totaly shut down. I know they spawn and kinda have an idea about that but not so good... does anyone have a good opoinon on this?

Bass spawn around this time of year depending on water temps 60 degrees and they will start to bed and the moon cycle. If you are fishing in the hot summer you should fish earlier in the morning and at dusk . What kind of baits are you using ? look for shade and any type of cover Hope this helps Pete

Yeah in the mid summer weeks, when the water temps are really up there, the bass may be in deeper water. Thats when you have to spot them in deep structure and pull out a jig or the drop shot.. Best spots would probably be deep holes with a quick route to a shallow haunt. Like Pete said...If you're fishing from the shore, the best time is definatly from 8pm on...
