Batterson 5/11
Message:
I had "one of those days," so I decided seeing some water would do me some good. I had a couple rods in the car, so I headed to Batterson on the way home from work. Made a few casts in one spot with a "little booger" swimbait (3:16 Lure Company) then moved into the trees into another spot to the right of the ramp. Made a nice backhand cast under some branches and just beyond a little laydown and got a nice little 1.5 largie on a sweet beaver in about a foot of water.
Just what the doctor ordered. It's amazing how one fish can change the complexion of the day.

Yep. Just realized in re-reading my report that I didn't mention that I was on the bank. Anyway...it always feel good to catch a fish wearing loafers and a business shirt.
