After getting frustrated with finicky bass all week, I decided to go after some trout. Caught a ton of fish but only one trout, it was a 14" brookie. One pool that I fished, I managed to pull out 4 different species which was kind of cool. All together I ended up with the 1 brookie, 8 fat bluegills, 4 rock bass, 1 yellow perch, 1 tiny largie. All of which were caught on a rooster tail, not sure what you would call the color, I guess rainbow trout? Saw a MONSTER pickerel in there as well which was a bit surprising.
