Itchy River Round 2... FIGHT!

BoSox and I took another go at Itchy River today. The water was SO CLOUDY due to the rain this morning and yesterday morning. Anyways, we suited up and tried are luck. I decided to bring my fly rod today and try something different. Man I'm so glad I did!!!

I caught three smallies on this, and almost had a largie too. He came and picked it up, and me being a fly rod novice, I didn't set the hook properly. At least I got some good casts today, and some fish! BoSox got a rock bass on a small white spinnerbait, and a sunny and a decent perch both on a black 1/8 oz. rooster tail. He was a good sport about being schooled by his fly fishing brother too. :wink: :wink: We would have stayed longer, but a thunderstorm chased us out. We were practically sprinting through the water.
