Fished Cedar today with my buddy Steve from 9:30 to 1. Water temp was 66-67 deg heavy cloud cover with on and off rain. Started off on the wester bank and found a few fish in 6 fow on a spinnerbait. went over to pads on the northern and eastern sides of the lake with a frog with no takers. went back over to the south bank where i picked up another bass and had my heart broken when a bout a 4lber threw my spiinerbait back at me. my buddy caught probably the biggest pickeral i have ever seen . Back down the western shore when the wind was whipping on pad edges i picked up another 3 bass, best one going 3+. spinnerbait bite was on today but they wanted it burned. the faster the better. ended a short trip with 6 bass for myself 1 for steve and the huge pickeral. too much rain today to take the camera out.. not bad for a shirt outting. we also tried the deeper weedline at about 8-10 feet of water with no takers on a jig, vreature or crankbait.
