Casting Call - Reynold's tournament open seat 6/20
Message:
I'm a Reynolds customer and I'm thinking I want to fish this tournament...but I've only been on the river twice. I caught 2 nice LMB once and got the old skunk on a tough day the other time. Basically, I'm offering up the back of my boat for somebody with some river experience and knowledge from a boat. Remember, catching one bass enters you into a drawing for a free Skeeter in this tournament, so think of it as a fun opportunity. I'm paying the entry fee, so if you're looking for a free ride in a tourney with a boater that is going to let you call some of the shots, then reply here or PM me and we'll see what we can put together. My only requirement is some knowledge and experience that's applicable to the Haddam area. They're expecting around 100 boats. Let's go catch some fish! I have to fax the entry in with both of our information by end of business on Wednesday. For more info on the tourney, look at http://www.reynolds1859.com/pdf/march2009tourney.pdf

fish goto ct outfitters and get the map of the river, it details all the coves, stucture and depths. Check out what the tides are going to be doing come tourney time and get a game plan together. I am a river rooke for the most part but have done well at white oaks cover and keeney cove during incomming tides. Or just follow tralli around:)
