Farminton River 6/11

Hit my spot in Riverton again this morning between 9:15 & 10:00 am. I had 45 minutes to kill so I did some speed fishing...lol. Same technique as last time (hook & worm). Got quite a few nibbles. Hooked up with a big trout. He was pulling the drag like mad. I tired him out a bit and started to bring him in. I got him to withing 10-15' of shore and the bugger went under a rock and threw the hook... :x
Finally ended up hooking a nice 15" brownie. All in all it was a good morning.

Thanks. Yeah...it was a bummer losing that one. None of the fish up there I have caught ever pulled the drag like that so it must have been a really big boy. Maybe next time.
