Waders at Enfield Dam... Dangerous??
Message:
I went to Enfield Dam yesterday for the first time, didn't know really what to expect. I did expect to catch a few smallies, but was disappointed by the amount of access to the swirling water. Plenty of shore access to the fast moving 1 ft. deep water!! I just want to know if anyone has ever waded there, where to enter the water, holes to watch out for, etc. It looks like an intimidating place to wade, but I've heard people do it. Any input would help. Also, what's the bite up there? I'm assuming light line is a must due to the clear water.

Becareful wading in the river, especially with all the rain we've been having that river's gotta be running mighty fast. All it takes is one slip-up and your waders could fill up with water.......if that happens you are good as gone! :(

where a life jacket and bring a walking stick to check for depth and soil composition.
