Lake Housatonic

only had a little time so I did a local trip on Lake Housatonic. Saw cmorjoe on the water and he told me conditions were tough and they were. But I did better than previously this year. This lake/river seems to have gotten even tougher this year than in the past. I assume it's because of all the rain. The lake was a good 2' above its normal level. Results were 2 rock bass (both on spider grugs - salt & pepper with red fleck) a short LMB on a spider jig (green pumpkin) and a 13.5" keeper on a shakey head worm (green pumpkin),

Pappy: my cousin (from SC) and I didn't do much better; he got a lmb about 14" and I got one smaller than the crankbait I was using. All in all Monday and Tuesday STUNK! I hope it stops raining everyday the current was real bad and with the wind coming out of the south it made things almost impossible. Anyway it was good talking to you; hope to see you around this summer cmorjoe
