Took the kayak to Crystal Lake Sunday afternoon. All I caught was a small perch and a nasty sunburn. Lake was really windy with a good bit of sun. I tried a rat-l-trap and yellow spinnerbait. Before going to my confidence rig at that lake, the drop shot. The perch came on the dropshot in about 6 fow. Wind was so bad I was trolling when I was drifting, made it tough to stay over the good spots. Not a good fishing year for me yet! Soon enough. Water was clear to about 6-8 fow when the wind wasn't kicking up.
