My biggest Bass!!

Not really a fishing report but had to brag....
This past saturday July 25th I was out on Coventry lake with my buddy doing some kayak fishing.
I I used various bait but seemed they were loving my yamamoto 6" senko it was a watermelon green or something kinda like stained water. (please excuse my terminology I's still new at fishing)
I had it wacky rigged and threw it out at a point that I knew had a drop off...well something big grabbed it cause I set the hook and I felt it was very heavy.. I took my time reeling it in keeping the tention and then I saw it surface...this huge 5 1/2lb bass jumps up out of the water...I lower my rod tip to keep it from jumping again and slowly bring it to the side of my kayak...the damn thing kept swimming away and dragging me with it...I bet I could have made it across the lake if I held onto it longer...
Water temps were 70's and sun was just coming up.
I eventually get it to the side and unhook it...I look it show it to my buddy...unfortunately no camera with us.
My brother was telling me there is like only 50 of those big bad boys in the lake and that I may never catch one that big again, well I am going to try and prove him wrong I will be out there again next weekend Aug 8 at around 4am to start fishing.
Overall that day I hooked 8 LGM, 3 rock bass and a chain pickeral, my buddy 5 rock bass 2 chain and 3 LGM.
oh another cool thing about that trip is I remembered reading a lot about fishing docks...there was a little cove with a busted looking half sunken dock in 1 foot water so I threw this shakey worm texas rigged there and bam first cast was a hit with a LGM.....I released and decided what the hell lets try again...BAM a rock bass was pulled out.
So much fun!!!!!!
