9/4 Wethersfield Res
Message:
I fished the wethersfield res on 9/4 from 12pm - 4pm. I didn't have electronics so no idea on water temp. It was blue bird skies and hot. The water was calm with occasional 5mph winds. I fished the pads most of the day. The water was really stained with zero visibility.
I threw a sizmic toad 3.25 green/pumkin/yellow I had 3 big explosions but only landed one 2.5lber in about 1' of water under thick pads. It was a slow day but still better than work.
I also threw with zero action a white colorado blade spinner bait, black buzz bait, pumkin seed brush hog and a 4" motor oil colored senko.
I saw about 40+ dead fish in the North corner. There was bass, sunnies and a couple of crappies floating. My suspicion is that they sprayed the weeds recently and all the decaying weeds reduced the o2 levels and sufficated some of them.

Justin,
I went Saturday, later in the day. I was using a brush hog the whole time I was there, (about an hour).
Catch a couple, not to great. The water was like mud.
