Anyone ever fish lakes in Mexico?

I've read about a couple lakes in Mexico (El Salto, Mateos) and was wondering if any one has ever taken a trip down there to fish south of the border?
I hear the bass fishing there is killer and am looking into a week long vacation down there next year. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, DON'T drink their water. :wink: :D Seriously, always read Salto, Bacarrac were some of the best bass lakes in North America to consistently catch 10lbers. Just be sure to go there at the right time because their prime season is different than ours.
