Hit Cedar for a couple of hours yesterday fished from 9:30-12:30. Temps (water) around 65deg. started on the west side at the pad/milfoil transition throwing a sluggo type bait with one hit and no connection, had a couple of blowups on a frog. continued to fish out deeper to 12-14' weedline caught one 1 1/2 lm on a black and blue jig continued fishing deep for another hour with d/s rig and grub with no takers, switched over to the southern end shallow in about 4 fow picked up another flipping a jig to the remaining pads same size as bass number one. wind picked up with some cloud cover started throwing a spinnerbait picked up one more and a couple of pickeral. conditions seemed to be getting better for a better bite and i had to call it quits do to family obligations. i think that cold snap the night before wacked them on their heads.
